Dr. Sittason is a wonderful children's dentist! He and his staff are always so accommodating and pleasant. The wait is... typically not too long, unless they run into an issue with a patient. Otherwise they get you in and out in a timely manner. I definitely recommend Children's Dentistry and Orthodontics.read more

I love this place! I used to drive over an hour to take my children to a Charlottesville pediatric dentist, and only a... place this wonderful could pull me away from that. They are so accommodating and friendly, they are efficient but also willing to take time to answer every question. We are VERY happy with Dr. Sittason. It's very convenient to have an orthodontist right there too. He'll actually pop in during the dentist visits just to see if things are as they should be or if the child might need an appointment. I can schedule both kids at the same time and be out very quickly, while not sacrificing quality of care.read more

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Stewart and all staff! My almost 4 year old had to have 2 teeth pulled and... Dr.Stewart made my little man feel so comfortable. The staff is so patient and kid-friendly. My youngest son has Down syndrome and we have been coming here for years.... The staff has always been accommodating and make him feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone with children.read more

The entire staff as well as Dr. Stewart and Dr. Sitason are so good with kids! I have observed both Doctors working... with my children and they joke around with them and ease discomfort by preparing them for every action they take before they take it. Amazing Experience!! For my super doctor averse kiddo to 1: smile and laugh, 2: stay seated in the chair by herself, 3:... let them clean her teeth, 4: let the doctor see her teeth... This is hands down the best dentist in Lynchburg! The staff was incredibly nice and went out of their way to make sure... my son felt comfortable and excited about the whole experience. I highly recommend this pediatric dentist. We have seen them twice for my 3 year old son who chipped his front tooth.... They are patient with small children and do everything possible to make their experience positive. They even had a movie room this past time where my son was able to watch his favorite cars movie while they checked him out. He let them look in his mouth and use the utensils necessary without a fuss. I was expecting worse from my 3 year old but was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend them.read more

My son Brantley had visited the office 3 times. He had a consult:. Which the nurse was very informative, took him for... x-rays, explained everything to his level, very patient, showed him around to make him feel comfortable. The doctor Took the time to play around and make Brantley and myself feel comfortable asking and answering all questions. On visit 2&3: Brantley had to have proceedures done. They told step by step everything they were about to do, how it will feel, check on with him, sung to him while he watched movies. I would recommend them to anyone with kids.read more

They appreciate that kids can be a little nervous for dental appointments and they work hard to make sure kids feel comfortable. The office is nice and clean and very welcoming. On Christmas Eve my 7 y.o son lost the bracket on his braces. The wire was poking his gums and there was no way I could... fix this. So we raced home from northern Virginia to see if children’s dentistry could do something. So I left a message at 9 am and by 11 am dr. Pyle himself called me and said that sure he would see my son in the office and remove the wires for now. Now I’m a doctor so I’m used to being available to my patients when I’m on call. But here is a dentist returning the favor. I was so blown away and felt so grateful to this wonderful office. They love their jobs and kids. I’m a big believer that kids are not “little people” and it’s takes a different personality and skills to care for children. From the moment you walk in- there are toys and movies for the kids. There are over 100 different toothpaste kids can choose from to have their teeth clean. Then there’s the token and the toy at the end. This office is awesome! Thanks for always taking care of my guys every time they come in. No need to look further- this should be your kids dentist.read more

My kids have been going here since they got teeth, so for a few years. They have always been great. For a normal... cleaning with X-rays we’re usually in and out in 15ish mins because they actually get you back and seen at your appt time which is amazing.
But tonight was icing on the cake. My 3 year old fell and busted his 2 front teeth out. It was 5mins after the office closed. I called and left a message on their emergency line. Dr. Stewart called me back within 5mins. We talked about it, I sent him pictures and he told us he could meet us at the office in 45mins to extract the teeth tonight so we didn’t have to go to the ER. He was simply amazing and for such a traumatic experience, the dentist part was not scary at all for my son. Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Stewart and the practice as a whole!read more

All 4 of my kids have been with this facility since age 4. They are great with my kids and patient with me and my... scatterbrained self. We felt like family always. All of my kids have gotten their braces removed and we are transitioning to an adult facility. I am not excited about the change bc they spoiled us!read more

Great service. My daughter broke a baby tooth over the holiday weekend and I received a prompt call back from my... message to the emergency line from Dr. Sittason. We made an appointment to have it checked and he removed it in the same visit, allowing room for her permanent tooth. It’s also so convenient to have her dentist and orthodontist in the same office and she sees them both at each regular visit. The whole staff is great. My daughter actually looks forward to going to the dentist.read more

First time for our almost 4 year old going to a dentist where it was in depth …
All I can say was the team was... amazing! Lizzy the dental assistant was awesome and playful. Dr. Stuart was a listener, and never seemed hurried: though I know he was busy. Erin , the office manager was more than helpful, and so so sweet.
I am very thankful for this team and feel like Ray is in great hands.

I can’t say enough about this practice. My girls never complain about coming to regular hygiene appointments. They even... love to guess which color their room will be! The hygienists are wonderful and have us laughing and comfortable as soon as we get in the room. Even when we have to get a filling or a tooth removed, they put my daughter at ease and guide us through the process. I’m so glad I found them.read more

Kelly was AMAZING!! Our regular dentist referred us because my daughter (age 4) was not letting anyone look in her... mouth and kept saying how scared she was. Not only did they get her to have an exam, with not a single tear was shed, we got through x-rays as well! They took my concerns very seriously and reached out to my child’s pediatrician to be certain the plan of care was safe. I highly recommend Dr. Sittason and his fantastic team to any family in search of a caring, gentle and honest pediatric... dentist for their child. Dr. Sittason has seen my children for their 6-month check-ups and minor dental work since they were 2 years of age. I am so thankful for how gentle the hygienists have always been and the positive experience Dr. Sittason creates at every single visit. My 5yr old son went in to have a cavity removed and a crown placed over his molar. This was his first time getting... dental work done. He had only had cleanings before. They made him so comfortable and let him watch a movie of his choice during the procedure. Then they gave him 2 prizes and had us out within 45mins of arriving! I was very impressed with Dr. Sittason and his assistant. They are all about making the child feel comfortable! They also allow the parents to sit right beside them! Which was a huge deal for me! We highly recommend this office.read more
